Taylor Trzasko '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Trzasko, I am a senior at Port Huron High School with a dream of playing college golf.

I started playing golf in my junior year where I received an All-Conference Award, an Academic All-Area Team award, and honorable mention for All-Area as a member of the Girls Varsity Golf Team.  This fall I received the 1st Team All Area award, MAC Blue Medalist winner, MAC All Academic Team and Big Red of the Year award.

This summer I played on the Blue Water Junior Golf Tour earning three 1st place awards and two 2nd place medals in the girls Flight B.  I was asked to move to Flight A after achieving my best tournament score of 88 on 18.  I finished the tour winning the Tournament of Champions trophy for Flight B.  I am willing to work hard to improve my game as an individual and as part of a team.

I have been a multi-sport athlete throughout my school years, playing AYSO soccer, basketball and ice hockey on both mixed teams and a girl's travel team.  I am also a certified scuba diver.  I have a passion for the outdoors and an obsession with golf.

I also strive for major accomplishments in the classroom. I am currently ranked 14 out of 295 students with a GPA of 3.92, as well as being a member of the National Honor Society.  During my sophomore year, I took AP Government & Politics and received a score of 5 on the College Board AP exam. In my junior year, I completed 3 more AP classes and testing recently receiving an AP Scholar with Honors Award.  This year I am taking AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP English Literature, Physics and a Leadership class.

My areas of educational interest are in the Sciences.  I am open to all college options.  Ultimately, I look forward to finding the right college that is a good fit both in the classroom and on the course.
