March 2013Personal Statement
Not only do I strive for perfection in my golf game but in the classroom as well. I have always wanted to go into the medical field and later in life volunteer my time and knowledge to Doctors without Borders. In my free time I volunteer at many different organizations. One is our branch of Huron Valley Special Olympics where I coach mentally impaired children of all ages on the golf course, the basketball court, the lap pool and the track.
I also dedicate my time to our underclassmen on our golf team by staying after practice or in my free time improving our golf game -which can be seen in us placing 2nd in our division from second to last in 2011- and actively leading the team to victories throughout our season (being the number one golfer for my senior year). I hope to one day be able to turn my passion for golf into a coaching opportunity back at my hometown high school. My main overall goal is to one day know that I did the best I could with what I had and make a difference in people's lives whether it be in the hospital or on the green.

I also have to say that I feel a personal accomplishment and pride that I first picked up a golf club right before my freshmen year and have dropped my 9 hole personal best from a 72 to a 40 these past four years.

Yes. My sophomore year I had taken Advanced Chemistry.Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. In my junior year I had taken AP Psych, Economics and Biology. This senior year I am taking AP Government and Chemistry. However, I will not be taking AP test I took these to better prepare myself for college classes and years to come.Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?

- AwardsI have been on my school's honor roll system for all four years and am a scholar athelete.
- ActivitiesI am a volunteer at my local hospital, Huron Valley Hospital and I also volunteer with the mentally challenged through a local therapeutic riding program and Huron Valley Special Olympics Golf team as an assistant coach and a worker at a local horse rescue and a volunteer at a local senior center.
