Kaitlyn Burstad '25 Recruiting Profile

I started playing golf as a freshman in high school. Even though I may seem behind, I am very dedicated to the game. I excel in the classroom and have always been the student to give it my all in a class. This work ethic translates over into my golf game. I want to become the best golfer I can be. I have a private coach and do Titleist Performance Institute training three times a week. Because I live in the TPC Twin Cities neighborhood, I am surrounded by some of the best amateur golfers in the state. They inspire me to get to their level. This game has transformed my life; I have found a passion for everything about the game. I would call myself a perfectionist, but golf has a way of putting me in my place and I love it. There are ups and downs on the course, but I have found joy in learning how to handle this side of the game. Playing competitive golf, I have turned into this composed, committed, and confident person on and off the course. I would love to continue my golf career at the collegiate level.
