My name is Courtney Bloom and I attend Hinckley-Finlayson High School. I play the number 1 position on my golf team and have been our golf captain for the past two years. I started playing golf for my school team in the 9th grade and accomplished being All-Conference every year so far and had the honor of being our conference MVP my 11th grade year. I also had the honor of advancing to state my 10th and 11th grade year and placed respectably.
Ever since I have started playing golf, even at the age of 6, it has been my passion. I have always strived to be the best athlete I can be. I believe it is not always about having to be better than everyone else but to always be better than the person you were yesterday whether that be on or off the course. I have worked very hard to become the athlete and student I am today and always encourage myself to work even harder. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be able to be apart of a team and be able to work with other girls and continue to progress in my skill.
