I never played golf until I was a freshman in high school. I was cut from volleyball so I started the golf team two weeks late. It has taken a lot of practice to get to the place I am today. I am glad I decided to golf. It is something I can do to relax, enjoy myself, and have some fun.
I started golf being the #5 on varsity and I have overcome my teammates, and I am now #2. My main high school goal is being on the A honor roll. In college I hope to golf, and get grades so that I am able to make the B honor roll. I would like to continue my golf career in college because I enjoy it and it would help me stay busy during school. My future goals with golf include getting my scores lower, improving my chipping, and working on my putting. "One of my immediate goals I hope to achieve is shooting below a 82. I'm continuing to practice everyday, receive lessons, as well as wake up early every day in order to have more time to practice. I am very dedicated!"
Besides golf, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and the outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and hiking during the warmer weather. I also spend some of my free time tutoring two younger kids in math and I enjoy working with them and teaching them new things. I enjoy meeting new people and going out and doing new things. I am shy at first, but I open up after awhile.
