I started playing golf when I was 5 years old and started tournaments at 7. Golf is extremely important to me as not only do I enjoy the competition and fun in the game, but golf has also pushed me to my limits, taught me several lessons, and opened my life to several new experiences. It has given me the opportunity to travel all over the country, meet new people, and make several friends. Golf has taught me patience, determination, responsibility, and many other values that I'm thankful for. In return, I believe giving back to the community that has raised me is very important, and it led me to volunteering and learning to run a golf tournament with the local Las Vegas U.S. Kids Golf Tournament director and volunteering at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open every year for the past 11 years. Both golf and academics are extremely important to me, so I have learned to balance school and competitive golf, which has prepared me for my journey as a student-athlete. I am excited to continue my journey with golf and look forward to playing golf at the next level in college!
