Since I was young I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field either in veterinary science or human medicine. I am an overachiever and work hard to get to where I want to be. I’ve been a straight A student my entire life and I get upset with myself when I do worse than that. It is very important to me to continue earning good grades along with maintaining a strong balance between my sports, family, school, and hobbies. An aspiration I’ve had for a long time has been to get the chance to learn how to fly planes, which may seem like a strange desire for someone who has little interest in engineering. With time and persistence, I hope to full-fill that goal, along with many others I have in academics and sports. I have also loved music since I was very young and have played piano my whole life. I used to play cello and trumpet, but overall switched to French Horn and have been consistently playing that for almost six years now. Between my love for music along with the talent that is required in that specific field of interest, and my passion for golf, soccer, and flying planes, I have a abundance of goals I can constitute. Not only am I determined to do well in academic studies, but I strive to do more each year and challenge myself to do different things. I try to go out of my comfort zone, which allows me to learn better and learn more. I also learn by helping my friends and other students by teaching them on subjects they may be less confident on.
