Emily Stelman '18 Recruiting Profile

    My golf career began at an early age when my Dad had introduced me to the sport. I attended golf camps throughout my youth and challenged myself to tryout for the Boy's golf team my Freshman year of high school. Goal accomplished, I was the very first female at Goffstown High School to ever make the golf team. Making the team I realized that I belonged at that level which gave me the self confidence and drive I needed to keep improving not only my game but myself as well. In the last two years of playing on the Varsity golf team I've learned to balance my academics and athletic achievements. I've placed at State and Regional tournaments my Sophomore year, and I'm looking forward to the challenge my Junior year. This past winter I spent dedicated to improving my golf swing. I feel as though my biggest asset is my teachability and I'm a quick learner. I'm looking for a college that will fit me best, athletically, academically, and socially.
