Hello Coaches!
As a junior in high school, I currently hold a cumulative GPA of 4.05 GPA and about an 80.4 round average. Academics are something that does not come easy to anybody, and I have learned to work towards success. I maintain the same work ethic in the classroom that I do on the golf course. I work for everything I have and I hope you understand my sincere desire to attend a prestigious college/university to study my future major and to continue my athletic career.
I am entering my fifth year of competitive golf and in this past Junior PGA Season, I earned three top-three finishes including one first-place finish, along with two top-five finishes in my past high school tournament season. I had multiple rounds under par and plan to maintain a similar schedule in 2024 with the hopes of taking my game to an even higher level. In each of the last three years, I have improved by 4+ strokes per year and my short game remains the strongest part of my game with my tournament putting average sitting at just shy of 32 putts per round.
Alongside being a multi-sport athlete, I have held a junior coaching job at a local golf course near my hometown. I love being able to watch young golfers grow their love for the sport. In my eyes, every high-five and “thank you” is taken to heart and truly makes me love the sport even more. To fully prepare myself to work with children, I became CPR certified. This helps greatly, especially during my charity work with children. Outside of the classroom and course, I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, photography, as well as rooting for my Sixers and Eagles!
I take my time on the course seriously, and I understand what it takes to be a collegiate athlete. I have multiple coaches for separate aspects of my golf game. Outside the course, I have a personal trainer to maximize my lower body and core strength to maximize my distance in every swing. Yet, I still prioritize my work in the classroom.
With all of this being said, I hope my passion and love for golf have truly been displayed. I would appreciate any contact to further discuss possible interest.
