Personal Statement

I consider myself a good candidate for the team because not only am I passionate about golf, but I have had consistent improvement over my years of play. I have been on the Varsity Team all three years of high school, including being the only Freshman on the Varsity Team. My handicap has gotten lower and lower to an average of 12. I am also the captain of my team. Besides my skill in golf, I am a highly passionate and ambitious individual. I work hard at my craft, being it engineering and programming, French language, or golf, which is reflected through my scores and leadership positions and awards. Additionally, my greatest value is balance. A balance of schoolwork, sport, self-care, social life, and exploring my passions is how I am able to stay my healthiest and happiest. Success brings me joy, so spending my time on schoolwork and on my competitive teams (Golf and Robotics) is how I do fairly well in my rigorous classes and earn awards. I maintain my health as well, eating well and staying active, and consider myself a vibrant personality and a supportive friend.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
