Catherine Drohan '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Catherine Drohan and I am a rising senior at Scarsdale High School in Scarsdale, New York. I made the varsity golf team my sophomore year and was part of the NYS Section 1 Championship winning team. Due to COVID-19, my junior season was canceled, but I plan on having a stellar senior season. At SHS, I am a member of the Creative Writing Club, am Vice President of the HELP Animals Club, and was chosen to be a leader in the middle to high school student "buddy program".  I have also taken lessons with golf-pro Kevin Chin out of Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, NY. 

My athletic goal for my last year of high school is to become a consistent starter on the varsity team. I would like to continue to be dedicating every day after school to an hour and a half in the weight room to help become a stronger, more balanced, and overall consistently athletic golfer. I will also be working hard in the classroom to increase my GPA. 

My collegiate athletics goal is to play golf at the Division 1 level. I understand the amount of hard work it will take to achieve this goal, and I am fully dedicated and motivated to be the best on the golf course, in the weight room, and in the classroom.
