Hillary Gong '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Hillary Gong and I am currently a junior in North Carolina. I have played the game of golf since around six years old, and I would like to continue my love for the sport throughout my life, including college. Golf has impacted my life in so many ways including the friends I've made at tournaments and being able to enjoy nature for hours on end. I love this sport because of the flexibility; you can play with friends, alone, on cold days and sunny ones. Although some may say college golf is hard, I wish to challenge myself and prove that I can do it, similar to the challenging tournaments I play in. Not only do I challenge myself in athletics but I also try to challenge myself in the classes I take and academics. This year, I have decided to challenge myself with AP Calculus and four other APs as well as two Honor's classes. I am excited to see what college golf brings!
