I started playing golf competitively in 7th grade. Ever since then, I fell in love with the game and have worked hard to improve my game. I always strive to do my best no matter the circumstances. I aspire to play college golf after graduating high school. I know the hard work and commitment that it takes to play at such a high level, and I am certain that I have the dedication that is required.
I have a good driving distance and reliable iron play, but the aspect of my game that I focus on the most is my short game. I know that the most efficient way to lower my scores is by putting in a lot of work with my wedges and putter. I am a coachable player and always strive to be the best I can be. Not only do I always make an effort to do my best, but I also encourage my teammates to work their hardest and always put forth their best efforts as well.
I also study hard in school and aim to obtain a 4.0 GPA. I am a member of FBLA and I am also involved in student council and student advisory. I am also an active member of my church and youth group. Although I am a very dedicated golfer, golf always comes second to God and my family.
Ultimately, I want to attend the right college for me where I can push myself both academically and on the course. I hope to inspire others and make my parents and coaches proud.
