In 2021 I found my passion: golf. I joined our high school team (with no experience) just because my dad wanted me to try it. What I didn’t know then is that I would fall in love with this game. I learned a lot that first season on our varsity golf team and I continue to learn more every day. I went from an average of 125 to an average of 85.9 within only 3 years. Throughout those 3 years I was self taught, and the only reason I got to where I am is because of my love for this sport and my self determination. Ever since I walked off the 18th green at state when I was in 8th grade, I knew my ultimate goal was to golf in college. I now dedicate every moment I can to improving my game, basically living at our small town course only leaving when my parents have to drag me home. One of my favorite parts of this game is the connects I have gained throughout the years from cheering on my friends from other towns during tournaments. Golf has shaped me into who I am today and I cannot wait to see how it molds me in the future.
