Aniyah Copeland '25 Recruiting Profile

I started golfing the summer before my freshman year of high school. At first I started playing just for something to do, but quickly found that I love the game. Not only do I get to compete against others, but I found that I truly thrive competing against myself. Plus, it has been pretty fun beating my dad. To develop as a player, I work with my swing coach, play in multiple tournaments, and practice year round. My work ethic and determination help me to achieve the goals I set for myself each year. I also apply the same work ethic to my academics which is helping me to maintain a 3.9 GPA while taking honors classes. I am involved in many extracurricular activities including FCA (leader), FCCLA, and intramural sports. Most importantly what defines me is my faith. I am very involved in my youth group, worship team, I host a bible study, and this summer I went on a missions trip. I hope to attend a college where I can grow in my faith, push myself academically, and continue to improve on the golf course.
