My name is Carly Grime, and I am a junior at Archbold High School. I started my golfing career as a freshman, and I have been playing ever since. I have been working to improve every day, and I am willing to keep improving to get better and help my team. The strongest part of my game is my 50-75 yard shots to the green. The weakest part of my game is my short game around the green. I want to get better in both of these areas, and to improve my skills with all of the clubs in my bag. Throughout the summers, I participate in multiple tournaments, including some two-day tournaments.
The most memorable moment for me in golf was during my junior year, when our girls team won the league championship for the first time. During our tournament run in that same season, our team took second place at Sectionals to advance to the District tournament for the first time in school history.
I currently carry a 3.2 GPA, and I am taking college level classes. Not only am I committed to improving my golf game, but also to doing well in school.
