My name is Lexus Roshong and I am a Junior at Glen Oak High school. I got started into golf when i was six years old and it has helped me grow into the person I am today. Sophomore year my average for 18 holes was 79, and that has been my best year so far. I made it to Districts as an individual shooting 77 at Turkeyfoot at the sectionals. I shot an 85 at districts being the end of the season for my sister and I who also made it as an individual. .Junior year has been the first year Glen Oak as a team qualified to go to Districts, we went as the fourth spot. Going into Districts at the Legends I said to myself just make the most out of and have fun. That's the first time I've said that to myself the whole year. I shot the best round of the year there shooting a 37 on the front and 42 on the back going six over on the last three holes. I was satisfied with my score besides that with a 78 which helped our team become District Champs! I'm so proud of my team and what we have done to get us at this point , we made it to states and got 7th place out of 12 teams. I also made First team all-county, and First team all Northeast Ohio. I am willing to work even harder to accomplish my goals for Senior year.
On the off season, I work out with free weights and run. My sister and I play 3-5 days a week in the spring and summer. We are looking forward to having a great Senior Year!
