I took up an interest in golf at the age of 7 when my dad introduced me and my two older sisters to the game. While still in middle school, I was one of the team managers for 3 years and watched both of my sisters play on the varsity high school team. Both my sisters were good players and great role models for me but neither went on to play at the college level and they’ve looked back now with some regrets that they didn’t pursue any opportunities to play in college. I’ve set a goal for myself to work hard on my game during my senior year to see if playing at the college level is something I can achieve.
