Personal Statement

My name is Grace Thompson and I attend Theodore Roosevelt High School located in Kent, Ohio. I have been playing golf since I was 6 or 7 years old. I started playing tournaments around Ohio when I was 11 years old, and I have still been in love with the sport since. I am going on my senior year, and will be completing four years of varsity girls golf. I currently have a 3.6 out of 4.0 GPA. I had a wonderful season last year, starting off with tryouts in August. I started the season with a hole in one, and completing tryouts as the top player on the team. Towards the end of the season, I helped to lead the team from sectionals to districts. I ended the year with one of my best scores yet, 75. I hope to continue to improve next season, and hope to bring a lot of positivity as co-captain for the team. My average on 9 is an 41.8, and for 18 is an 82.8. Please check out my stats for more information. I am a very dedicated golfer, and once I set my mind to something I put 110% into achieving that goal. I am also a hard worker, and willing to learn and improve my golf game. My aspiration is to play golf at the next level while furthering my education. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
