Hello Coaches,
I am a junior at Keystone High School in LaGrange, Ohio. I started playing golf, just 1 month before golf season started, my freshman year. With my Father as my swing coach, we went right to work. My freshman year, I was called up to play most of the varsity matches and my scores were used in each match. That year, I received my varsity letter and Rookie of the year award. Then my sophomore year I made my way up the ladder to the number one position and received the Top Tee Award. This past year (2024), I received the Coaches Award. I practice hard all throughout the off season to improve my game . The past two years our team went to Sectionals and Districts. This year, our team made school history and placed first at Sectionals. We then went onto Districts and my team took 5th place, where I tied for 16th place out of 72 girls who competed. This year at Districts, I improved my score by 19 strokes from last year, which shows that my hard work is paying off. I will continue to work hard in the off season to improve again, heading into my senior year. I will also be playing in tournaments with U.S. Kids and Northern Ohio Jr. Golf. When I am not playing golf, I also run in cross country. I enjoy running and it helps me keep my endurance up during a golf tournament. While playing 2 sports in the same season, I have kept a grade point average of 4.1. Also, I am taking a college English course and all while making it on the honor roll. I also go to our local vocational school for half a day, taking Web graphic and design. My college goals, are to pursue a college degree in Animation, all while playing golf on a college girls golf team. I look forward to seeing where golf could take me.
I know I could be a good fit to any college girls golf team. I am a team player and I work hard and I am willing to learn to improve my game. I believe there is always room for improvement to make myself a better golfer. I like to lead by example and show people that hard work pays off. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
