Quinn Malarkey '27 Recruiting Profile

This my first year on the varsity golf team. I was very lucky to be around such great teammates who were very supportive of my accomplishments as a freshman. I feel that this season I have improved my golf score and my mentality towards golf. I believe that the mentality of your golf game is super important. I first started my season by doing non school related tournaments. I played in US kids golf which I placed 4th overall at the end of the year. I also played in the Northern Ohio PGA tournaments. Then started high school golf. My first tournament I placed first overall and my team won. During my MAC preseason tourney I placed third overall with an 89 and my MAC post-season tourney I placed second overall with a 96. I made firs team all MAC Conference and missed player of the year by 1 point. I feel I had a great start to my high school golf career and can't wait to work harder so that I can have an even better sophomore season.
