Ever since I was young, I've worked towards being the best golfer and student I can be, with the goal of playing golf at the college level as a student athlete. I believe that achievement would be the greatest foundation for me to reach my future goal as a professional player and ambassador of the game.
Golf is the ultimate sport. I've learned many things about myself, including the strength of my resilience and patience, which allow me to keep a positive attitude no matter my score. It's also given me the opportunity to build relationships with many different types of people by sharing the game with my parents, siblings, grandparents, and many friends. Where else can you spend hours of one-on-one time with people of all ages and backgrounds while sharing experiences, competing for milkshakes, and having fun?
I also see how Golf allows me to "pay it forward" by sharing what I've learned with both my teammates and our community. My positivity and drive to never give up and always working hard to achieve my goals while having fun has been a great addition to my team and a positive influence on the young players I've instructed. I look forward to having the opportunity to lead and be a role model in college as well.
