I have played competitive golf since middle school and was selected for our Mason High School Varsity squad as a freshman. I continue improving my game fundamentals, while keeping strong academic standards. My current club head speed is 98-104 MPH, smash factor 1.4, off-the-tee average driving distance is 250 yards. I currently have an 8.9 Index and 9 Handicap. In June 2012 I won the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association tournament at Weather Wax golf course with a 79 (field of 25). I placed second at the Plantation Tournament, Hamilton Elks, Ohio, in April. Academically, I am a stellar student with a 3.75 GPA in a highly rated high school and college preparatory curriculum. I successfully participate in many activities and was recognized with the 2012 William Mason High School Entrepreneur Award.
My family has been extremely fortunate to live in Asia and Europe for a total of seven years. During this time I have learned to be flexible and understand different cultures. I am looking forward to attending a college where I can continue to grow as a student, athlete and leader.
Thank you.
