I’m Riley Kasee from Minford High School in Ohio (Class of 2026). I have been golfing competitively for 3 years. What got me interested in the game was golfing with my dad at a young age. The more I played the more I enjoyed it. I wasn’t given the opportunity to play for a school until we moved to Minford during my freshman year. I have been playing ever since. What I love about the game is the mental toughness it takes to compete. That aspect of the game has helped me in basketball and track as well. My love for golf and wanting to learn grows each time I have a club in my hand. I believe golf has made me a well-rounded athlete. I would love to continue my golf career at the college level. My dad who is retired Army, has always said that if you want to be successful you have to have a great work ethic, willingness to learn, and the mental toughness to fail and still push forward. This is the mindset that I would bring to the team and University.
