My name is Ella Porter and I am currently a junior at Versailles High School.
My junior season ended with many of my goals met and definite opportunities for growth. I finished as MAC (Midwest Athletic Conference) Champion and Player of the Year, Runner-up at the D2 OHSAA SW Districts and qualified for the D2 OHSAA State Tournament where I finished 19th overall.
I have a strong iron game and perform consistently with my hybrids. While there is room for improvement in my distance, I am willing to put in the extra effort to further my game. A few goals I hope to achieve next season include winning my conference individually again and as a team, as well as advancing to state. My plan is to play collegiately, while also pursuing a degree as a physician assistant. My academics are extremely important to me and I hope to attend a university that equalizes both academics and athletics.
While my goals are very personalized to me, I am a very team oriented person and believe that an athlete is nothing without their coach and fellow players. I am working towards a successful senior season in hope of obtaining my new goals.
