Personal Statement

I am Madison Stone, a Senior and Varsity golfer at Lakota West High School. Two months before JV tryouts in June 2014, I decided I’d like to try golf. I made the team and went on to finish the season battling for the number two spot. I love to play golf and would like to continue to improve and play at the collegiate level. I have a great work ethic and I have always had more than one job, been an active volunteer in the community, participate in many groups at school, was a swimmer in the YMCA League and even obtained a black belt in Karate. I wish I would have played golf at a younger age but I’m very coachable and have a great attitude. I am looking across all divisions for a college with a strong academic tradition where I can obtain my degree in Special Education/Pre-Occupational Therapy and continue to be a great teammate.
