When it comes to sports I’ve tried them all and luckily I have parents that have let me explore all options. Everyone assumed I would play basketball due to my height, but I discovered golf at 13 and knew it was my sport. I have a propensity to pick difficult and challenging tasks; I guess playing the bassoon would also be another a good example of one. I enjoy the process of learning and the reward of improving.
Last summer I stepped away from tournament play as well as my swing coach of 3 years. Unsatisfied with my progression and mental game, I sought out a new coach. I have spent 6 months perfecting a new swing that suits my body and focusing on my overall approach. Through this process I feel I have become a more rounded golfer. Working with someone who believes in me as much as I believe in myself has transformed my game. I have set some lofty goals for myself and dedicate everyday to attaining them.
