Emily Shelton '25 Recruiting Profile

Upon graduating from McAlester High School my goal is to play college golf. I have qualified for the Oklahoma 5A state tournament all three years of my high school career, and I hope to qualify as a senior next year. I am also currently ranked 13th in the state for 5A girl golfers. This year I placed 4th at our conference tournament and received First Team All-Conference and academic All-Conference honors. I placed 14th at the 2024 5A state tournament.  I am a hard worker and always strive to get better. My goal is to earn a scholarship to play college golf while working on my degree in nursing. I am very coachable, a team player, and always try to be a positive influence on everyone around me.  The connections and friends I plan on making thru the game of golf, I feel, will help me in my future career.
