Hello my name is Summer Marshall. I have been playing golf since the age of 4 and started playing competitively when I was 8. Ever since I was little, I've known that I love the game of golf and it has become a huge passion of mine. Although I've been involved in many other sports including volleyball, swimming, and dance, I have made golf my #1 priority. My favorite thing about golf is that I can set personal goals for myself to become a better player.
I have a solid swing with great touch on and around the green. I am very consistent off the tee and average a 215 yard driving distance. I am able to keep my focus throughout every round and I understand the importance of every shot. I am very coachable and I am able to get along well with coaches and teammates.
Along with athletics, academics are very important to me. I am able to maintain a high GPA while taking AP and honors classes, and also volunteering in the community.
I hope to attend a school that will challenge my golf game and my academic skills.
