Personal Statement

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile! My name is Jaylee Sikora, I am a sophomore at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg, Pa. I am a dedicated and determined golf athlete that aspires to play golf at the collegiate level. My love and drive for the sport of golf has become evident to me the last few years while playing at Central Cambria High School. My grandfather introduced me to the sport of golf the summer prior to my freshman year. I immediately knew that golf was a great sport and a great fit for me. Right away it became evident to me that golf is not only an individual sport but most importantly a team sport. My personal goal quickly became to work hard so that I could become a strong contributor and leader to my team's overall success. Through my discipline and dedication to practice I led my team to their second consecutive PIAA District 6 Championship. My hard work throughout the summer resulted in my team's success and my personal achievement as the reigning PIAA District 6 Champion! I have been golfing just shy of two years. I feel that I have a natural awareness on the golf course. My aim is to improve my golf game and become a better golfer . My hard work and determination not only follows me on the golf course but in the classroom. Thank you for viewing my profile, I look forward to speaking with you soon.

On May 5, 2018 I completed my Lifeguard Certification, and am looking forward to working at our local pool this summer!
