My name is Lexus Julian, and my ultimate goal is to have the opportunity to play college golf. The best thing about me as a golfer and student, is that I am willing to outwork everyone that surrounds me. My grades have always been most important to me, and anything below a high B does not meet my standards. I love being part of a team and working hard everyday. I am a very self driven athlete and student that makes it easy for surrounding coaches and my parents.
I began playing competitive golf in fifth grade for Algood Middle School. I played on the Algood team for all four years of middle school working my way up to the number one player the last two years. I then made the Cookeville High School varsity golf team my freshman year. By my sophomore year I worked my way up to the number one position. The same year I qualified for the TSSAA Golf State Championships as an individual. I work on my game at least three days out of the week to keep my game strong year round. I play competitive golf year round through high school golf and the sneds tour junior golf. I would love to continue playing competitive golf in college as well as getting a good education.
My academic goals for the rest of high school are to finish in the top 10 percent of my graduating class. After highschool, I plan on continuing my education by studying nursing in college. Upon completion of nursing school, I would like to get my masters to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
