My goal is to find a school that will help me continue my growth in education and golf. I am a hard worker and have a passion to succeed both in school and golf. I have a high aptitude for learning and very coachable. I look forward to joining a school where I can help the team succeed. One aspect that makes me different is I have a quiet confidence in my competition. I am confident that even after a bad shot, I can work my way out of most situations. I am very supportive of my teammates and others on the course. Academic excellence has always been a goal. I've worked hard to be part of the honors program all through middle school and continuing in high school. I compete in golf with my high school team and also part of the local Sned's Tour to continue competing during the summer. I spend the late fall and winter working to improve my game with my swing coach and weight training. As I talk to other junior golfers, many of them started golf when they were very little. My path was slightly different in that I didn't pick up a golf club until the 6th grade to try out for the middle school golf team. I made the team and have worked extremely hard to improve my golf swing to where I am today and competing against the same girls that started much younger than me. I feel this reflects my work ethic and drive to continue improvement and how quickly I can pick up new changes and adapt.
