Hello,
My name is Hannah Mininni. I lived in a golf course community as a small child and began golfing at the age of six. My father is also an avid golfer and has had a positive influence on me. I played in some U.S. Kids golf tournaments when I was younger and found a passion for being a competitive golfer. I have also participated in some South Texas Junior PGA tournaments. I joined my high school team and made varsity my freshman year. Last year my school placed second in our district giving us the opportunity to compete at the regional level. My team had some top three achievements last year and I also received medals for my individual scores. I am open to all college level divisions.
My goal in to improve by 5 to 10 strokes each year. The strongest part of my game is long distance and I plan on working very hard to reach my goal. I golf five times a week, honing my golf skills. I am strong academically and work hard in the classroom. I am dedicated to being a good student as well as a good "person." I feel that one of my strongest strengths is my ability to bring people together. When there is conflict between my teammates or friends, I try to help them find a common ground. My parents raised me to be strong, independent and to make sound decisions. I have a great relationship with my parents because they know they can trust me to make good choices.
Even though golf is my passion, I also enjoy any type of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, swimming and frisbee golf. I also enjoy traveling. I have been active in volunteering through my church. I traveled to Vidor, Texas to help rebuild homes after hurricane Harvey. This past summer I volunteered to teach vacation bible school from five to nine year olds. My church youth group also volunteer to clean up our local river after flooding.
I am dedicated to golf and strong academics. I strive to be a hard working teammate, friend and community volunteer. Because of my strength in golf, integrity and commitment to not only the game, but being part of a team, I feel I would be an asset. Thank you for considering me as part of your team.
Sincerely,
Hannah Marie Mininni
