Brenda Castillo Amparan '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brenda Castillo, I am a student at Hunter high school. My first time ever picking up a club was my freshman year, and I quickly fell in love with the game. I have improved a lot since freshman year. I was shooting around 158 in 18 and 78 in 9, my sophomore year season was cut short because of covid-19 but It didn't stop me from playing and practicing when it was possible. I was shooting 100 in 18 and 42 in 9. My Junior year I shot (average) 88.1 in 18. I have worked very hard on my swing and am very proud of it, and I will keep on working to make it better. The golf course is my happy place and I try to go out there as much as possible, but also putting time in for school. I am a very hard working, passionate, and dedicated person, I also look forward to improving myself as a person and my golf game.
