Hello my name is Emma Zelaski. I am a junior and I attend Louisa County High School in Louisa, Virginia. I’ve been playing golf since I was 8 years old. I found a love for golf through joining my local PGA junior league chapter and ever since I have not been able to stop playing. I originally wanted to play golf so I could have something in common with my dad. My favorite part of the game is being able to meet new people and the competition. I have been on my schools coed varsity team for three years. All three years I have been in the top 4 spots. My sophomore and junior year I have been in the number one spot and I was co-captain. My sophomore year I qualified for the state championship and my junior year I missed the cut by a couple strokes. This motivated me to want to play better. I have also played in tournaments through PKB and my local golf course. I try to do my best on the course and I also try my best in school. I currently have a 4.59 GPA and I am enrolled in multiple DE courses. I am part of my schools BRVGS chapter which gives me opportunities to collaborate with other schools and develop leadership skills. I am also involved in many clubs like SODA, National Honors Society, and The Lion Pride. I am very excited for college and I hope that I can continue the sport I love.
