I have been playing golf consistently now for about 3 years and I have decreased my score from about 110 to 80 in just a little over a year. I have now currently gotten it done to the mid to low 70s. I still have much to learn and plenty of room to grow. I love putting in the work to achieve my goals and get better. When I'm not practicing I work at the golf course where I practice. So I can't get enough of the game! I didn't start at an early age like most of the girls I compete with, but that hasn't stopped me from playing at their level. I tried out for my high school golf team which is the boys varsity team since they don't have a girls team and I didn't make it my freshmen year, but after I didn't make it all I did was practice until the next tryouts and when I went to try out again I made it. I played on the team with about 11 guys and I was one of the top 6 players. I qualified for regionals my sophomore year and junior year both years placing 2nd out of about 35 other girls and advanced to states. My junior year at states I finished 17th out of 65. When I'm not playing for the school I train with my private coach Brian Liebler at Broad Bay Country Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
