February 2018 Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Madolin (Maddi) Neff and I am currently a junior at John Handley High School in Winchester, VA. I have been on the varsity golf team for my school since my freshmen year, and have been playing golf competitively since entering high school. I have been the top varsity golfer on my team since my sophomore year and am still aggressively improving my average score of 85.
I have invested in private instruction and athletic training for the past two years both in and out of season. To help pay for my golf lessons, I work a weekend job as a hostess at a local restaurant. I also challenge myself in school by taking AP/duel enrollment courses for college credit. I currently carry a 3.6 GPA.
I love the mental toughness that the game of golf requires and the way it challenges me. I look forward to seeing where my golf career takes me!
