I am new to golf and only began playing as a freshman. I improved the first two years and honestly wasn't thinking about college golf but made huge improvement my junior year and realized how much I enjoy the game. I know I am way behind for recruiting but also know anyone willing to consider me for their school won't be disappointed. I had both a successful individual but also team junior season. I posted new personal bests several times and my high school team made the state tournament for the first time ever. I really love my teammates and enjoy pushing each other to become better.
The strength of my game is off the tee as I average 230-240 yards even hitting 280 once this year. I have improved my short game (chipping/putting) but know that is where I will reduce my scores significantly with added practice. I have also committed to playing WJGA tournaments for the first time and look forward to gaining that tournament experience. Along with playing WJGA I have signed up for personal swing lessons from our local country club pro to help iron out mechanical flaws in my swing and gain consistency. I'm really looking forward to that.
If you anticipate openings for your school and are willing to see the same potential I see in myself please don't hesitate to reach out! Thank you!
