Personal Statement

Hello! I'm a multi-sport athlete with a 3.99 GPA who loves Jesus. I enjoy being on a team and I strive for success, encouraging my teammates to do the same. I have a history of participating in leadership roles while juggling multiple sports and taking advanced classes. Outside of school I enjoy youth group & small group activities, and spending time with my friends and family. 

My high school golf career started in 2022, as an eighth grader. Each of the last 3 years I have had an undefeated regular high school season, was team captain and MVP each year, League Champ and MVP each year, and District Champ the last two years (runner-up my 8th grade year). I finished 3rd at the WIAA 1B/2B State Championships in 2022, State Champ for the WIAA 1B/2B in 2023, and finished 3rd at the WIAA 1A State Championships in 2024. 

I'm ranked 4th in my class in WA on JGSR. Outside of school I compete in the WJGA (2024 district champ and 2022, 2023, and 2024 state qualifier), RMJT (2022 player of the year), and other ranked tournaments. I've been selected for our local PGA Jr League All-Star Team for the last 5 years and my U17 team at Chambers Bay GC competed at Regionals in 2023 and 2024. I spend time practicing at my home course, Tacoma Country & Golf Club, and at my work, Evergreen Golf Club in Tacoma. I cross-train in the off season with varsity soccer and wrestling (currently ranked 3rd in WA for 1A 115 lb girls). 

Best golf experience: Caddying for Chesson Hadley, Kevin Streelman, and Stewart Cink during a practice round at the 2023 WM Open. Stewart Cink let me putt it out on the famous 16th hole. Special thanks to FCA Golf for the opportunity! 

Fun fact: I was a competitive Irish Dancer for 6 years, and have had lead roles in local theater productions.
