Playing a sport in college was never a goal for me because, honestly it just did not seem possible. Going into this golf season I did not believe I was a super amazing player or would be the kind of athlete that coaches and schools would look for. In the middle of the season, I had an opportunity to speak with a past player who went on to play in college and she made me realize that I have the potential to pursue golf in a post-secondary school. I improved my golf game incredibly this year, accomplishing things beyond the goals I had set for myself. A coach that wants an athlete that is willing to improve, take criticism, and work hard is looking for me. I have improved my golf game incredibly from when I started playing my sophomore year, and I am excited to see the strides I will make in the future. School is another very important thing in my life. Balancing golf out with school is not necessarily easy, yet I tend to use all my free time working on one or the other.
