Tegan Haberstock '22 Recruiting Profile

Gymnastics plays an important role in my life.  It has taught me self-discipline, perseverance, and how to take direction; enabling me to reach my goals as a student athlete. I love being in the gym and always give 110% effort.  I value my relationships with my teammates and coaches and demonstrate this by being an active participant in creating a positive environment that benefits everyone during training and competition.

I started competitive gymnastics in 2017, and qualified for provincials in my first JO6 competition.  Through hard work and guidance from great coaches I progressed from JO6 to JO10 in less than 3 years.  COVID restrictions prevented me from competing for the majority of 2020 and all of 2021.  I’m excited to compete in 2022 and show off the skills I've been working on.

Outside of the gym, I continue to push myself to maintain great grades in school so that I can be a successful student-athlete in University. I am looking forward to a school that can help me reach my academic and athletic goals of fulfilling my dreams of participating in collegiate gymnastics.
