Kaitlyn Gomez '27 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to bring my contagious, positive can-do attitude to a competitive gymnastics program. I am very dedicated in every area of life that I commit myself too. Practicing long hours, completing my homework and tending my household chores has never been an issue for me. I maintain a 4.0 GPA, and even higher in some classes, practice 4 hours, 5 nights a week. I often organize team activities such as hikes, get togethers and team lunches. I volunteer in the children's ministry at my church and often am asked to babysit for our neighbors kids. My parents have told me that I have always been independent and a self starter since I was a little girl. This has carried over into my daily activities and has resulted in me being chosen as the 8th grade class speaker at my promotion ceremony. I presented my speech in front of over 400 people and am confident I did well.
