Gymnastics has been a very important part of my life for the last 13 years, and it has helped to shape who I am today. This sport has taught me discipline, good work ethic, and how to be a team player. Competing as a level 10 this year and qualifying for the National Canadian Gymnastics Championship as a member of Team British Columbia allowed me to realize my dream of competing at the collegiate level is achievable.
As a member of the Provincial team for the last two years, I have loved forming bonds with teammates in a sport that is usually individual. For the last two years we have supported each other as we built a strong team that finished second in the team competition at Nationals this year.
I look forward to being part of a team throughout my college years.
