I've always dreamt of competing at the NCAA Division 1 level and pushing myself to new heights. What sets me apart as a candidate is not only my dedication to gymnastics but also my well-roundedness. My international travel experience with Team Canada to Italy and France taught me the importance of adaptability, teamwork, and resilience. These qualities have shaped me into a gymnast who thrives under pressure and values the bond between teammates. Moreover, my 3.96 GPA reflects my commitment to balancing athletics and academics. I believe in pushing myself academically just as hard as I do in the gym, ensuring that I excel on all fronts.
While I've competed individually as an Elite gymnast, I also immensely enjoy competing under my provincial team, Team BC and as an Espoir member under Team Canada. I have been invited to attend several Team Canada hosted training camps (at the Montreal National Sport Institute) each year since 2018.
What truly distinguishes me is my multifaceted involvement in the gymnastics community. Beyond my own training, I've found a passion for coaching at a city run facility and currently teach everyone from tots to teens. This experience has not only reinforced my technical expertise but has also honed my leadership and communication skills. I'm eager to bring this coaching experience to your team and contribute not only as an athlete but also as a teammate and peer.
I am genuinely excited about the prospect of joining an NCAA Division 1 gymnastics team. My international exposure, strong academics, and coaching background uniquely position me to contribute to the team's success both on and off the mat. Thank you for considering me as a potential member of your program. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my aspirations further and learn more about how I can contribute to your team's legacy.
