I have loved college gymnastics since attending a college meet when I was seven. It is a sport that is never boring, pushes the limits of the average person, and demands you constantly push yourself. I am still rushing to the gym every day, and genuinely, I cannot imagine attending college without gymnastics. College will happen because I have prioritized my academics and have high marks. I have treated school as the 5th event to allow me the opportunity to get on the best college gymnastics team possible. I want to represent a college gymnastics team as a competitor and a scholar. I love the idea of having teammates working toward a championship and being a contributor to the team effort. Getting to this moment has taken a lot of hard work and time management, but I'm still fighting. I still have lots to achieve in my remaining high school years, and I continue working towards new goals daily. I am self-motivated when reaching my goals and depend on my coach's guidance. I have a great relationship with my coaches, who know I come to work every day. I've learned to break goals into smaller parts to deal with more significant challenges and work through what I need to achieve. Gymnastics has helped me grow personally and mature with the sport, as I learned to be patient and confident. Nothing is better than accomplishing a new skill or succeeding in an event. I want to be a champion and represent a college as a role model for gymnastics and the fitness that extends beyond gymnastics and through life.
