When I was in fourth grade, I saw my first college gymnastics meet. An athlete got a perfect 10 on floor. I thought to myself "I want to be just like her". Ever since then, I have dreamed of being apart of a college team. I want to be apart of something bigger than myself. I want to inspire the next generation of gymnasts and allow them to follow their passions.
My motto is "You get what you give". I work so hard at practice everyday. I put full effort in even when I am not asked to. When faced with challenges, I don't give up. Even though my aspirations are no always the easiest to achieve, I still give it my all. You could say that hard work is one of my core values. The best part of meets is definitely cheering (more of screaming) for your teammates. When a teammate gets a new skill, you can count on me to be the most supportive teammate on the team. When a teammate is having a hard day, I go over and listen to them. I try to cheer them up and look at the bright side of things.
I started my own small business on Etsy selling jewelry. It has been such an amazing experience. I have learned so much about business and communication. Even though I don't think it is something I am going to pursue in the future, I love trying different things to see if it clicks for me.
In my free time, I love to play games and go on walks and traveling with my family. I enjoy taking photos and writing random things. I try to spend as much time with my friends as possible.
