My passion has been gymnastics since I was in the 4th grade. My parents placed me in a novice class at West Georgia Gymnastics Center when I was about 8 years old. I quickly fell in love with the sport and begged my parents to allow me to compete with the gym"s competitive XCEL Bronze team. I have progressed up a level every year since then and have qualified for Region 8 regionals every year.
This upcoming season, I will be competing for Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta. This gym is such a great fit for me, because there are so many gymnasts on my level there. I am a team player and love having so many teammates. I am a hard worker and love receiving corrections from my coaches. I strive to be the best gymnast I can be each year.
I have been able to balance practice and my studies at school and volunteering service hours very well. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my middle and high school years so far. I am a member of the National Beta Club. I am also a member of the Service Club at my school, working on a service cord for graduation since I love to help others.
It is my dream to compete at the college level. I feel I would make a great asset to your team and school on so many levels.
