My gymnastics journey started a little later than most, at 10 years old. I fell in love with the sport instantly and worked for 2 years to make Team. Started at level 4 at age 12. My drive, determination and commitment to continue to improve and grow in the sport, has gotten me to where I am today. My goal is to continue to sharpen my skill set in order to continue competing in the sport while attending college.
The excitement I feel each time I am learning a new skill, reinforces my love of the sport. There are so many skill opportunities and I love learning as many as I can to find the right skills that are best suited for me to help the team.
I believe with my commitment, determination and team working skills, I would be a great candidate for any team. I am not afraid of all the hard work that goes into being a great teammate as well as a great student. Not only do I push myself in the gym to become a better gymnast, but I maintain high grades in honors classes and go to another gym for strength training and mobility.
I moved to a new gym, Northeast Gymnastics, at the beginning of October in order to get more time in the gym. With moving gyms, working with new coaches and teammates, along with learning new skills and cleaning up old bad habits in form, I had a good first year level 9 season making it to PA States. Continuing to work on upgrades.
