I just finished my level 9 season winning beam at State and getting second on beam and bars at Regionals. I am now training level 10 but I had to compete level 9 this last season due to the two knee surgeries I have had for OCD. My first one was in July of 2021 which then failed resulting in a second one in March of 2023 that was successful and is fully healed. The time off just retaught me the love I have for the sport, and I was able to focus more on conditioning, flexibility, and basics. Part of that has helped me to make such a fast comeback. In the gym, I am putting in the work because college gymnastics has always been my goal. I am still improving each day and one of my best qualities is that I am very coachable and determined.
Even outside of gymnastics, I am often either doing it at home or watching it. Some of my favorite gymnasts are Nastia Liukin and Gabby Douglas. I would love to do gym in college to experience another side of the sport and to be apart of a team. Some of my other hobbies include playing with my dog, being with my friends and family, being outdoors, unicycling, doing crafts such as crocheting, etc.
