Chloe Huffman '28 Recruiting Profile

I’m Chloe Huffman, I was born in China and have grown up in the small town of Moxee, Washington. My love for gymnastics began at the age of 2 when my mom decided to enroll me in a toddler gym class to keep me from jumping off the furniture. From balancing on beams to soaring over bars, I’ve never once considered quitting. In 2019, I joined a competitive team, and the gym became my second home, my teammates like sisters, and gym family, my second family.  I am competing as an Excel Diamond this coming season. I’m looking forward to competing with all the new skills I learned this summer. My ultimate goal is to compete at level 10 by my Senior year in Highschool.

This year I began my Freshman year at East Valley High School, studying Biology, Algebra, honors English and Honors history. I typically get A’s and B’s and I was also in a bilingual program studying Spanish since Kindergarten. I was able to earn 3 Spanish credits before high school allowing me to focus on other required credits. 

When I'm not at the gym you can find me at cheer practice, school or hanging out with my friends. When I'm at home I like baking, cooking, cleaning or organizing. I love Disney and I’m so excited to be invited to participate in the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Walt Disney World this year with NCA. I am looking forward to finding a school that will allow me to have a well-rounded college experience consisting of a great education and to follow my dream of competing in gymnastics at the college level and becoming a pediatric anesthesiologist or surgeon.
